Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Rumaloom application or website (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Rumaloom (“we”, “our”, “us”). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Rumaloom account. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. Children under 13 may use the Service only as managed members set up by a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at legal@rumaloom.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Upload content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or infringes any third-party rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent.
  • Spam or harass other users.

5. Content you provide

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Rumaloom (“User Content”). By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service to you and your family members.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not review content before it is posted and are not responsible for any content uploaded by users.

6. Subscription plans

Rumaloom offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Lite and Pro). Paid features are described in the app. Prices and included features may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refunds are subject to the policies of those platforms. We do not issue refunds directly.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Rumaloom available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate the Service, or any part of it, at any time with or without notice for maintenance, legal, or business reasons.

8. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

The Emergency Vault feature is provided for organisational convenience only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rumaloom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
