Delete Your Account

Account deletion is self-service and available any time:

1. Open the Rumaloom app and sign in.
2. Tap Settings in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Tap the Settings row near the top of the Profile screen.
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
5. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete My Account.

Your account and everything described below is deleted immediately — there is no waiting period and this cannot be undone.

If you’re the leader of a family with other members still in it, the app will ask you to transfer leadership (or have everyone else leave first) before your account can be deleted — this stops a deletion from silently cutting off the rest of your family from their shared calendar, lists, and other content.

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile, login credentials, and push notification token
• Lists, notes, and drawings you created
• Recipes and meal plan entries you created
• Attic (capsule) items you sealed
• Emergency Vault entries and documents you created
• Family Wall posts you authored, and any comments or reactions left on them by others

If you’re the only member of your family, the family itself (and any remaining shared content in it) is deleted too. If other members remain, your own content is removed but the family and its other members’ content are unaffected.

Your account is removed from our active systems immediately upon confirmation. As described in our Privacy Policy, any residual copies in backups are purged within 30 days.

If you’re unable to sign in — a lost device, a locked account, or any other reason — email us at privacy@rumaloom.comfrom the address on your account (or with enough detail to verify it’s you) and ask us to delete your account. We’ll confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, covering the same data listed above.
